Minivans are available at a rate of $270 per week with 1600 free kilometres (Duntroon is about 110kms from the Toronto airport). Additional days are available at $39.95. This is a very good rate as the weekend of the 8th and 9th are the beginning of spring break in Ontario and mini vans are in high demand.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The official race hotel of the Canadian Nationals will be the Best Western hotel in Collingwood, Ontario. A block of 65 rooms has been reserved and will be held for us until January 31, 2003.

The cost will be $89.00 /room /night. Waxing facilities, and a common room for the coaches meetings will also be available at the hotel.

Rooms are now also available at the Cranberry Resort in Collingwood. We have arranged for 50 rooms to be made availabe to athletes at the Cranberry Inn. Each room has 2 double beds. The hotel amenities include a pool and sauna. The rooms can be booked under Cross Country Ski Nationals until Feb 1, 2003. Prices ( which include breakfast and dinner) are:

Double : $93.50 + tax + grat./person
Triple: $76.00 +tax + grat./person.
Quad: $71.25 + tax + grat./person.

We have also arranged for accomodations at the Canadian forces Base in Meaford. Rooms will be available at $35.00 /person/day. The price includes breakfast, lunch(box) and dinner. All groups staying at the base must be supervised. There will be no tranportation provided from the base to Highlands Nordic. Skiers are responsible for their own transportation.
