men or women whether a team/club exists or not at their institution.

All teams participating must verify
(through a designated team coach or manager)
their rosters by Sunday March 15th, 2004.

CCUNC Team Scoring

There are four races in which teams can score points. They include the classic race on the 16th, the full pursuit concluding on the 17th,
the sprint qualifier on the 19th and CCUNC relay on the 20th.

A skier scores points equal to the percentage of the fastest CCUNC skier. The following formula will be used (the term score and percentage will be used interchangeably):

Equation (1)

The Teams Total score will be the sum of:
Top four scores from events on the 16th, and/or 17th (therefore minimum of 2 skiers are required for each half of pursuit), top three scores from sprint qualifying, 3 times the percentage from the relay.

As long as a team completes the relay they are in the team standing, even if they are missing a score earlier in the week. Men and Women are scored separately.

CCUNC Individual Scoring

Individual will be given scores according to equation (1). The overall six All Canadians will be determined by summing up individuals top two percentages from the following three races: Classic race on the 16th, Full Pursuit ending on the 17th, and sprint qualifying on the 19th.

Notes:
CCUNC skiers can race either Senior Men/Women or Junior Men/Women.
The weekends long distance event is not part of the CCUNC,
but skiers are encourage to complete if they wish.
