Media
Welcome to the 2011 Haywood Ski Nationals and the 84th edition of the Canadian Cross Country Ski Championships! This event promises tons of excitement as top Canadian and US skiers will compete head to head at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
The Haywood Ski Nationals also includes the Canadian Colleges and University Championships (CCUNC). The CCUNC was first introduced at the 2000 Ski Nationals and recognizes the top school teams. The 2003 Ski Nationals marked the first year of participation by disabled athletes and has grown to include sit and standing classes for Para-Nordic skiers of both genders.
Media Office
The media office will be open from March 10-19; media accreditation may be picked up at the office. Wireless internet is available in the media office.
Location & Hours
The media office will be located in the race office (Meeting Room A) on the first floor of the Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge. The office will be open on the following dates and times (subject to change):
- Competitions days - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Training days - 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
Accreditation
We would like to provide media representatives with timely and accurate information, powered workspaces as necessary and access to restricted parts of the course/stadium for photo/interview opportunities. In order to facilitate the above, we ask that media representatives complete a Media Accreditation Form in advance of the event.
